TRAFFIC UPDATE: ROAD RESURFACING AT ROTHLEY CROSSROADS

Good news! The roadworks at Rothley crossroads are nearing completion as part of the ongoing improvements to this vital junction.

Here’s what to expect:

• Final Resurfacing in February Half Term: Resurfacing works will occur during February Half Term (Saturday 15th – Sunday 24th February) to minimise disruption.

All being well, this timetable of work is scheduled as:

– From the 15th February, Hallfields Lane & Cossington Lane will be closed – Phase One

– Hallfields Lane will be closed until Wednesday evening of the 19th February 2025 – Phase Two

– Cossington Lane will be closed until Saturday 22nd February 2025 – Phase Three

– From Sunday 23 February 2025 the crossroad will be under 4-way traffic lights.

Plan Ahead:

• Allow extra time for your journeys and be mindful of potential closures. Updates will be posted on the broadnook.co.uk website.
• Official diversion signs will be in place to guide you along alternative routes.

Co-Op, Miller & Carter, and Charnwood Nursery will remain open throughout the works, so please continue to support these valued local businesses.
